A good design is the foundation of a great skatepark. Being involved with a project from the early stages is always exciting for us. It gives us a chance to be involved with consultation, and to gather feedback from the people who really matter – the skatepark users.

As dedicated skateboarders with many years of experience, and having collectively skated parks across the globe we understand exactly what a skatepark needs in order to work well. We’ll gladly assist with all stages of design, consultation, and construction. No matter what the budget is.

Construction

Constructing skateparks is different from any other form of construction. It requires an eye for detail, a wide skillset, and of course hard work!

Over the years we have developed a team of expert builders and established a system that means we can produce consistently high-quality concrete skateparks.

We pride ourselves on the finish and detail of our skateparks.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance can add years onto the life of a skatepark. We can provide assessments and maintenance reports, and carry out the necessary maintenance works to add longevity to any skate space, old or new.

We are experienced

Grind Projects are experienced. We’ve built many of Australia’s inspiring skateparks and have honed our technique over the years. Creating skateparks and seeing them being enjoyed is what we live for.

A lot of parks go out to tender already designed which can sometimes be a problem, as what works on paper does not necessarily work on site.

If we have any doubt that an element is not going to work, we will certainly change it up. So many parks just get built by people who don’t care because they aren’t skaters, so all those little changes that should have been made don’t get made and you get a generic skatepark that doesn’t function properly.

We never got into this to just build parks to make money and move onto the next. We want to be psyched on what we build and walk away knowing we had input from day one.
